Delete your account.

In the app or on the website

1. Sign in and open Profile from the bottom bar.
2. Scroll to Danger zone and tap it to open.
3. Optional but recommended: tap Export my data first to keep a copy.
4. Tap Delete my account.
5. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete forever.
6. You land on a confirmation screen with a deletion receipt — we re-check our systems after deleting and show you what was removed. You can re-check any receipt at keepithalal.com/account-deleted.

Deletion happens straight away — there is no waiting period, no reactivation, and no need to contact us first.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in account, email and phone number.
• Your profile, answers, nickname and location.
• All photos, your intro video and your verification selfie and ID checks.
• Your matches, requests, skips and message history.
• Your contact-blocking hashes and push notification token.

Backups roll off within 30 days. Once that happens nothing about you can be recovered, by you or by us.

What we have to keep

• Payment and refund records, where tax and accounting law requires them.
• A minimal safety record where an account was banned or reported, so a banned member cannot simply re-join.

These records are kept separately, contain no profile content, photos or messages, and are never shown to other members.

Cancel a subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings, or email billing@keepithalal.com for anything bought on the website.

Can't get into your account?

Email support@keepithalal.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you within 30 days. See our privacy policy for the full picture on what we store.
