Vetting FAQ

How vetting works, tier by tier.

Vetting is how brothers prove their character and sisters know who they're talking to. Here's what each pack includes, what our team checks, and what the badge means.

Questions & answers

Everything about the vetting process.

What is vetting and why does it matter?+

Vetting is a character and identity check that proves a brother is who he says he is, and that his intentions match the platform. It gives sisters confidence before they start a conversation, and brothers a visible badge that shows they are serious. Every tier checks identity, consistency and red flags before a badge is awarded.

What are the three vetting tiers?+

Standard (£19) uses AI and psychology screening. Premium (£99) adds a live human judge panel interview. Medal of Honour (£999) is a full coaching programme with 1:1 onboarding, weekly group calls and worksheets — everyone who completes it earns the badge. The higher the tier, the deeper the assurance.

What checks does the vetting team run before awarding a badge?+

Our team runs automated checks for document expiry, photo-to-ID matching, address proof, and consistency across the profile and questionnaire. A live panel then reviews behaviour, intention and red flags for Premium and above. We only award the badge when every required check passes, or a senior reviewer manually overrides with a recorded reason.

How long does vetting take?+

Standard vetting is usually completed within a few hours once documents are uploaded. Premium vetting depends on judge panel availability and is typically completed within 2–5 working days. Medal of Honour is a programme, not a one-off check, and the badge is awarded when the course is completed.

What documents or media do I need to provide?+

You will need a government-issued ID, a live selfie or short verification video, and proof of address. Premium and Medal of Honour tiers may also include a video interview with our panel. All media is encrypted, stored securely, and never shown to matches.

What happens if I don't pass?+

If you don't pass Standard, nothing is shown on your profile and you can re-apply later. If you don't pass Premium, your £99 is credited toward the Medal of Honour programme. Medal of Honour has no pass or fail — everyone who completes the programme earns the badge.

Can a sister buy vetting for a brother she is talking to?+

Yes. After the 3-day reveal window, a sister can pay to have the brother she is chatting with vetted at any tier. The price is the same as if he bought it himself, and the badge appears on his profile for everyone once he passes.

What does the vetted badge look like and who can see it?+

The badge appears on the brother's profile card and full profile in the app. It shows the tier he passed — Standard, Premium or Medal of Honour — so sisters can see the level of assurance at a glance before they decide to match.

Are my documents and verification photos shown to matches?+

No. Verification photos, IDs and address proofs are reviewed by our vetting team only. They are encrypted at rest, never appear on your public profile, and are not shared with anyone you match with.

What is the Medal of Honour programme?+

Medal of Honour is a 12-week coaching programme designed for brothers who want to become marriage-ready. It includes a solo onboarding call, a personal development plan, weekly group calls, worksheets and accountability. There is no pass or fail — every brother who completes it earns the highest badge on the platform.

How do I start my vetting enquiry?+

You can start directly in the app from the Vetting tab, or fill in the enquiry form on our vetting page. Our team will read your details and reply by email with your next step. You do not need a finished profile to enquire.
