The three-day rule
Every conversation starts anonymous. No photos, no real names, no social handles, no phone numbers. The three days start the moment you both accept the match — not when the first message is sent.
Voice notes unlock once you have both chosen Reveal. The rule applies to everyone — it cannot be bought out or skipped.
Requesting the reveal
Once the three days have passed, either side can request a reveal from the chat. Nothing is shown until the other person accepts, so a reveal is always mutual.
The reveal panel shows a timeline of where the request stands: waiting, accepted, or declined.
- 1Open the conversation and tap Reveal.
- 2Send the request — your match gets a notification.
- 3When they accept, photos and socials unlock for both of you at the same moment.
After the reveal
At reveal, choose to move on for free or continue for 14 days. Leaving early after choosing Continue uses one Skip. Contact exchange opens after the 14-day period, and we recommend involving a wali. Chat screens stay screenshot-blocked on Android; on iPhone and the web we can hide content and log capture attempts, but the phone can still take a screenshot, so share only what you're comfortable sharing.
If either member does not agree to reveal, photos stay hidden. You can continue privately or leave the match; the app explains any skip cost before you confirm.
