How the day-3 reveal works

The three-day rule

Every conversation starts anonymous. No photos, no real names, no social handles, no phone numbers. The clock starts on your first message and runs for three days.

Voice notes unlock from day two. The rule applies to everyone — it cannot be bought out or skipped.

Requesting the reveal

Once the three days have passed, either side can request a reveal from the chat. Nothing is shown until the other person accepts, so a reveal is always mutual.

The reveal panel shows a timeline of where the request stands: waiting, accepted, or declined.

1. 1Open the conversation and tap Reveal.
2. 2Send the request — your match gets a notification.
3. 3When they accept, photos and socials unlock for both of you at the same moment.

After the reveal

Revealed chats stay open for 14 days so you can move things forward with intention. Screenshot protection and watermarking remain on after reveal.

If a reveal is declined, the chat closes and a banner explains why. Nobody is left guessing.
